Brief Overview:
Metis NationSaskatchewan is hiring for a Graphic Content Creative specializing in print, digital, and contemporary artistic design. This position is organic in nature and will have a variety of tasks assigned, from design, communications, production, illustration and helping with events and experiences. Our team is a diverse, well-organized group and we are looking to hire someone who balances and brings an energy that complements our group. This position is in downtown Saskatoon and reports to the Directors of Storytelling.
This role will be part of the Storytelling & Content Services team. You will work in conjunction with the various teams at Mtis Nation-Saskatchewan to deliver and share with our citizens important knowledge from Metis history. Our history has been traditionally oral in nature however, through creative graphical design, we can start sharing Metis language, culture, and history and preserve our stories for future generations. The Graphic Content Creative will produce a wide range of materials to enhance the story of a project, to project and be a vision for the nation. You will work with designers and writers to enhance end products. This role requires working well under tight deadlines and a passion to share stories.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the Creative Director & Culture, Language & Heritage team to develop, enhance, and deploy graphical content for public, internal, and government audiences.
-Capture and craft visual stories with a consistent tone, language, and substance.
