Required Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Level C Health Care Provider (HCP) - Heart & Stroke
Critical Care Nursing Certificate
Lead 2 training
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills

Successful incumbent may also qualify for a $5000.00 recruitment incentive and up to $3,000.00 in relocation assistance, depending on eligibility.

If unable to find a fully qualified applicant, the employer may be willing to consider a candidate who would be willing to get the necessary Critical Care Nursing training within a specified timeframe.  Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred. Previous experience and knowledge in Lead II and ECG would be considered an asset. Provisional Rotation SUN - Article 7.03(c). This is a float position - ER/ICU. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
