Description

Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Sr. Controller, plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of Threeosixs financial department;
Follow and implement, in coordination with the Sr. Controller, financial policies, systems and procedures of an establishment;
Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports;
Coordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates;
Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
Train, manage, and mentor the internal accounting and payroll team;
AP/AR, job cost accounting, cash management ;
Work-In-Progress reporting;
Coordinate the year end process including preparation of working paper files;
Maintain the system of internal controls;
Regulatory reporting (GST, PST, WCB, Stats Canada etc.);
Notify and report to the Sr. Controller concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.

Qualifications:

CPA designation required;
Three to five years experience at a supervisory level;
Knowledge of construction or general contracting industry will be considered an asset;
Solid analytical, problem-solving abilities and mathematical skills;
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
