Little Castle Childcare Centre (LCCC) is a non-profit corporation offering a licensed, high quality program. Our qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) develop and deliver enriched programs that are effectively designed to support and assist each child's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- ensure a safe, positive environment
- plan and execute daily educational activities
- be a positive team member and role model
- able to manage behaviour and environment
- previous experience working with children
- willing to obtain a Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certificate
- ECE Level I, II, or III or willingness to obtain ECE Level Certification
- Must be a resident of Canada or have documentation to work in Canada

and permanent residents of Canada. The childcare centre encourages

- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs

- Assist in housekeeping duties
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
