Burnaby Digital Media Inc. is looking for a Database Analyst. Please refer to the job description and details below:

Wages: $40 Hourly

Job Title: Database Analyst

Job Type: Full-time & Permanent (37.5 hours a week)

Language Requirement: English

Experience Requirement: At least 1 year of work experience in a similar role is required

Minimum Education: A bachelor's degree or college program, usually in computer science, computer engineering, or mathematics is required.

Job Description

Coordinate with clients to understand the requirements and document the same.
Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems and reorganizing data in a readable format.
Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets for the diagnosis and prediction.
Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.
Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues.
