Description

Working within our AMO and reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the AME-E is expected to carry out, with minimal supervision, the installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, and modification of electrical instruments and components in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations, our approval ratings, and all applicable airworthiness requirements including company policies and procedures.  
Install aircraft instruments and components in accordance with approved and/or specified data and applicable airworthiness requirements.
Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of avionics systems in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including system checks, component replacements and upgrades, while maintaining compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Identify and rectify avionics-related discrepancies and faults using established procedures and industry best practices.
Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments to address and resolve avionics-related issues promptly.
Perform functional tests on repaired or upgraded systems to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
Stay in tune with technological advancements and updates in avionics systems.
Review scope of assignments and evaluate project needs including your own skill set.  Self-identify skill gaps to the Maintenance Director.
Review work accomplished and conduct certifications within your authority.
