Description

Chief Little Pine School is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to fill the full-time position of a Grade 4 teacher for this upcoming school year. This position will start in August of 2024.

Duties and Responsibilities:
         Nurture, support and guide young learners
         Prepare engaging lessons and interactive learning activities/materials
         Conduct formal and informal assessment of students
         Incorporate appropriate technology and media in lesson planning
         Facilitate learning activities both within the classroom setting and outdoors
         Participate in co-curricular school activities
         Promote a maintain high standards of behavior, respect and safety within the class-room
         Support families with open, ongoing communication
         Prepare lesson plans with clear objectives that follow SK curriculum standards
         Use information in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to strategically adapt instructional materials
