MGBHLM First Nation is looking for an Income Assistance (IA) Clerk to provide confidential and professional services to the membership of the Nation.
The Income Assistance Clerk will report to the Income Assistance Administrator and is responsible for supporting and delivering the Income Assistance Program. Providing adequate services will ensure that income support recipients receive regular, timely and accurate support payments in adherence to legislation, regulation and policies.
The IA Clerk is also responsible for supporting and following the duties and responsibilities assigned by the Social Development Policy and Procedures Manual. Those duties and responsibilities include reviewing eligibility and testing for income assistance and tracking payment of allowances to clients.
