Build and grow the agronomy and business relationships with existing customers.
Develop and deliver agronomic and sales presentations, and proposals.
Provide agronomic services and solutions to customers.
Provide agronomic advice and technical agronomist support to location staff.
Mentor location staff on agronomic practices, and products.
Attend and participate in customer information meetings.
Develop and maintain technical product and service knowledge to demonstrate features and benefits of products and services to customers.
Help customers identify canola seed varieties best suited to the customers needs and goals.
Interpret soil and tissue tests as required and be able to recommend best practices for soil fertility management for customers.
Scout fields while recording weed, insect, and disease observations.
Ensures pesticide applications are done at the proper rate and stage.
Design, implement, and monitor field trials.
Identify, procure, and manage grower demonstration trials.
Prepare and administer business contracts and maintain customer records.
Stay in regular communication with customers to ensure effective delivery of products and services.
Troubleshoot and respond to technical inquiries. Collaborate with other agronomists to identify solutions to agronomic and technical inquiries and recommend solutions.
Become a valuable and helpful resource for the customer and create a friendly and positive reputation in the industry.

A hourly wage of $38.75 per hour, 30 Hours minimum per week, pension, benefits, office, and professional equipment required to do your job will be provided to you. Access to on-going professional development is encouraged and supported at ProSoils.
