Job duties:
-Maintain vendor relationship to meet supply chain needs
-Develop new vendor relationships
-Purchase the best possible price to maximize best pricing for our
customers and keep manufacturing costs at a low.
-Work with supervisor on special projects as needed
-Experience in managing and doing business
-Processing returns
-Supply tracking
-Point of sale system
-Stocking and organizing parts room
-Answering phone inquiries related to the parts department
-Advising customers on additional parts that may be beneficial to a
repair or service
-Assisting in other areas of the parts department when needed
Skills and abilities:
-Experience working in manufacturing, agricultural or industrial
background would be a great asset
-Must be able to multi task
-Ability to identify new stocking potential items
-Analytical thinking
-Computer skills and the ability to learn different programs
-Work well with others
-Deliver exceptional customer service
This would be an ideal position if you have:
-Parts and machinery knowledge
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Experience working with software systems
-Ability to lift heavy parts
-A valid class 5 drivers license
-The ability to work flexible/extended hours and weekends when needed
-Farming background/experience
-A minimum of 1 year experience with a parts department
-Journeyman parts designation would be considered an asset, but willing to train the right candidate.
