Description

Responsible for the management of the Traffic Engineering Branch within the Department of Roadways and Transportation, including capital, operational and program planning, stakeholder relationship management, financial management and people leadership.
Mandate includes the planning, design and operational delivery of traffic and road safety engineering programs that provide the necessary regulatory frameworks, policies and procedures, traffic control devices, technologies, management strategies and associated road infrastructure features that will support safer and more reliable traffic movements on city streets.
As a member of the Departments management team, leads and/or participates in Roadways and Transportation or City-wide projects and special initiatives.
