Description

Answering to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse operator is responsible for the timely and efficient operation in the warehouse. Duties include but are not limited to loading and unloading trailers, freight assembly and disassembly, document preparation such as BOLs, OSD documentation, shipping/receiving and inventory control. Operation of safety sensitive equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and wrappers.
Working conditions are in a busy, temperature controlled cold storage environment involving repetitive task and heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
The ideal candidate must have a valid class 5 drivers license, be 19 years of age or older, have great attention to detail, numeracy, great written and oral communication, good working alone and as part of a team, solid decision making skills, organization and a desire for continuous learning. Previous warehouse and power equipment (forklift/power jacks) experience is a must..
Possessing a valid Class 1A would be considered an asset.
The shift is Monday to Friday 730am to 430pm
