Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled sewer and water pipelayer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating power tools, heavy equipment and other equipment necessary for pipeline installation. Experience with the installation of gravity sewers, HDPE pipe (fusing experience/tickets are an asset). This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair underground pipelines according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and other equipment as needed
- Dig trenches and excavate areas for pipeline installation
- Assist with HDPE fusion and rigging tasks as required
- Ensure proper safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pipelayer or similar role - HDPE fusion ticket(s)
- Proficient in operating power tools, heavy equipment, and other relevant equipment
- Knowledge of pipeline installation techniques and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
