We are currently seeking an experienced Quartz and Granite Installation Manager and/or Installer
To be qualified you must have excellence in:
Installing stone countertops
Cutting undermount sinks
Seam setting
Top polishing
Repairs and refurbishment of granite, quartz, marble and all other building and structural stones.
Cutting stone
Polishing stone
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Managing day-to-day schedule of templates and installs.
Coordination of the install crews and the fabrication department and reporting of fabrication issues (i.e. template/drawing issues, packaging, completion of work, safety, etc) to maintain the Installation/Delivery schedule
Coordination of cross-training, benchmarking for new and current production associates
Oversee purchase, receiving and inspection and verification of materials such as Granite, Marble and Quartz
Maintain established standards of installations, vehicles and tools related to the work
Monitor the efficiency of field personnel to ensure efficiency
Administer and oversee the quality control program to ensure that all work is completed with the highest degree of quality, service and within job completion deadlines
Oversee shop preventative maintenance schedule and repairs of all facility equipment/machinery
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
Completion of staff time sheets and coordinate vacation scheduling to coincide with production requirements
Other duties as directed
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven leadership and team building skills
3+ years of experience of installation of quartz and other natural stone/materials (i.e. Granite, Marble)
Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience managing a team of 5-10 staff
1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints/sketches/specifications/work orders
1-2 years of experience measuring, calculating, cutting, and operating specialized saws
