Poundmaker Cree Nation Child and Family Services

Poundmaker Cree Nation (PCN) has entered the process of decolonizing family services programs. Currently, services for our children and families are offered through Keyanow Child and Family Services, Inc. and some through PCN. A board has been established and an Executive Director hired. There are many aspects to consider and develop over the next year. This ad is for the initial positions being hired to work with the Executive Director.


Administration - Comptroller

Comptroller will be responsible for supervising the quality of accounting, adhering to agreements, and financial reporting of PCN Child and Family Services, overseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting, and assisting the board in the development of financial policies and procedures and human resources. This position may expand to include human resources and training, depending on the applicants and skill set. They will have obtained a minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting. They will report to the Executive Director.

Knowledge of PCN and First Nations culture and language is a definite asset for all applicants. All successful candidates must provide a satisfactory Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. If you have a Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check dated within the last three months, you may submit this as well.
