Description

Our client, a leader in the legal field is looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal!

The successful candidate is a self-starter with high attention to detail, a sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to learn quickly while supporting busy practices.

Duties:
- Document preparation related to incorporation, organization, amendments, continuances, amalgamations and dissolutions
- The filing of extra-provincial registrations and updates documents
- Document preparation related to share transactions including issuance of share certificates, and updates registers
- Minute Book reviews
- Filing a variety of corporate document via ISC
- Document management
- Calendar management

The ideal experience and skills:
- Minimum of five (5) years as a Paralegal
- Post-secondary education from a recognized Legal Assistant/Paralegal program
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High organization, attention to detail, and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines with a high degree of personal initiative
- Handling of confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities within a high-volume work environment
