We have an exciting opportunity for an INTERNAL AUDITOR in Regina, SK.

Main Duties include:

Prepares audit plan, methodology, documentation reflecting best practices and emerging trends.
Seeks input from senior leaders and other stakeholders with respect to potential control issues and risk.
Finalizes the audit plan, scope, and timeliness for submission to the CFO.
Conducts audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas.
Audits various financial and operational processes
Performs detailed testing, analysis, and assessment with respect to applicable laws, the integrity of corporate systems, processes, procedures, and related controls.
Creates a detailed audit report
Meets with the leadership to discuss the audit report, related findings, and recommendations.
Prepare and present Internal Audit reports presentations to Audit and Risk Committees.
Fosters a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.

Competencies for Success:

Bachelor of Administration or Commerce with a major in accounting.
A CPA designation is necessary, and individual must be an active member of CPA Saskatchewan
Three to five years of progressive and successful audit experience.
CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is an asset.
Financial management and control within the non-profit sector is an asset.
Clear Criminal Record Check.
