Description

The Business Development Consultant is responsible for ensuring the growth and profitability of Ground Effects Environmental Inc. through expanding market awareness of our products and expertise, managing relationships with clients, and bringing critical customer requirements back into the development, production, and marketing processes.

Job Duties:
-Identify new sales opportunities and initiate contact with potential clients.
-Meet with clients to understand their needs, prepare project proposals and contracts.
-Create technical presentations, instructional and product support and marketing material.
-Formulate a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
-Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients and nurture existing relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
-Maintain records of customer communication and sales activity.

Qualifications:
-Strong understanding of the environmental, water and oil and gas industries.
-Excellent written/oral communication, organizational and time management skills.
-A minimum of 5 years in Oil & Gas industry with a focus on business development preferred.
-Prior water treatment sales experience considered an asset.
-Experience in water/wastewater treatment, environmental sciences, marketing, or business.
-Valid Drivers License and Canadian Passport.
