Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Sprayer/Finishing Room Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in cabinet finishing, spraying, and sanding. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing cabinet parts in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

-Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding and filling imperfections
-Apply different types of spray stains and lacquers to cabinet parts
-Use spray guns to apply finishes
-Ensure that finished products meet quality standards
-Maintain and clean spray guns and other tools
-Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
-Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
- Maintaining organization of finishing room
- Use a forklift to move material around the warehouse
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-At least 2 years of experience in cabinet spraying and finishing
-Some knowledge of different types of stains, lacquers, and finishes
-Ability to read and interpret technical data and specifications
-Familiarity with spray guns
-Strong attention to detail and quality
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate a forklift

Physical Demands

-Ability to stand for extended periods of time
-Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 30 lbs)
-Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
