Summary of Position

This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time Bus Driver for Unity and surrounding area, commencing May 6, 2024. Bus Drivers are an important part of the school team by providing safe and reliable transportation for our students. This particular route, UN2, requires about 240 km of driving each day picking up and delivering approximately 36 students. The route starts and ends North East of Unity and brings students to and from the three schools in Unity.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1-2 Drivers License with a School Bus Endorsement is required;
5 years driving experience;
A clean Driver's Abstract;
Satisfactory results from a medical examination in accordance with Board policy and The Highway Traffic Act is required;
Related training such as courses in first aid, defensive driving or heavy equipment operation would be considered an asset.
