Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Operating Room.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate or equivalent
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and its affiliated agencies.

Equivalent Operating Room experience will be considered.  The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
