The Lynbrook Golf Club is currently seeking to hire part-time and full-time Cooks ($15 - $17 per hour) to be part of our Food & Beverage Team for the upcoming 2024 golf season. Reporting into the Kitchen Manager, this position will be tasked to perform all existing kitchen duties including the following and you will have the ability to put your stamp on the menu and food items created by our team.
preparation of food
cooking and making customers orders
maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and work area
ensuring food comes out in a timely fashion
accepting and putting away stock
rotating food product to ensure product is used prior to expiry date
This position will have thorough knowledge of food and beverage products and will make quick decisions to get the job done. You will maintain safe food practices, perform proficiency with a point of sale (POS) system and you must be certified for Food Safety Handling as well as Serve It Right Saskatchewan.
We are a seasonal business and will require you to work 30 hours each week during the months of April through October. You will be called upon to help the team through various shifts, including weekends and some evenings. You must be 19 years of age or older and be able to walk and stand for long hours and lift moderate to heavy weight loads.
