Facility: COMMUNITY HEALTH/MENTAL HEALTH
Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Mental Health & Addictions Services, the incumbent will provide a full range of clinical mental health services to children and adolescents, and their families.  Duties include intake, assessment and formulation of treatment plans, therapy with individuals, families and groups.  Travel throughout the Health Region is required.  Position is field hours and may involve evening and weekend shifts in order to meet client and program needs.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Masters Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
Clinical Experience in mental health setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to enter and retrieve data in a computer database system
Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty across a wide range of clinical presentation and formulate evidence based interventions
Ability to provide public/educational presentations
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
Ability to work independently and in a self-motivated manner, ability to respond under pressure
Basic computer skills
Conflict resolution skills
Cultural competency skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to prepare reports in a clear concise and timely manner. Ability to provide public presentations
Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act
Knowledge of a variety of intervention strategies (individual and group) for individuals with mental health and addiction problems
