The primary responsibility will be to operate heavy equipment such as compactors & loaders. Experience with a variety of equipment and tools used in municipal landfill department is considered an asset. Must have a current Class 5 Drivers License.
Duties include:
Operating Heavy Equipment, adhering to all safety protocols such as wearing the appropriate PPE, site maintenance, keeping accurate records, customer service, being prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires & spills, other duties as assigned
Wearing "CSA Approved" footwear at all times is a condition of employment and will be the responsibility of the employee to purchase.
Employment is approximately May 6 - November 1, 2024
Wages and benefits will be paid according to the CUPE Local 777-01 Agreement.
