Description

**This job is available remotely across Saskatchewan**

eWork should be so much more than just a job you do to earn a paycheque. And at SGI, it is.

We offer the essentials  a competitive salary, a great pension, and excellent employer-paid family benefits. We also offer rewarding opportunities, the opportunity to expand your professional skills and develop your career, and the chance to do work that makes a difference in our community and organization.

Now that we've (hopefully!) piqued your interest, we're hiring a Data Modeler! We'd love to hear from you if you're passionate about data and ready to take on new challenges.

Your expertise as a Data modeler will play a vital role in translating complex business information into simple data structures for end-users. This will boost our reporting and analytics capabilities, thereby contributing to our organization's success.

We hope you consider applying if you:

- Have a knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Have solid understanding of conceptual, logical data modeling and business intelligence concepts.
- Have experience with data modeling tools such as PowerDesigner tool or ERWIN.
- Have strong communication and presentation skills.
- Want to leverage your leadership skills to influence change, like actively supporting SGIs culture, expanding your learning, and supporting your colleagues as they do.

Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Computer Science, Mathematics & Applied Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or defined equivalency and 5  7 years of experience in a Data Modeler role or equivalent technology role.
