Description

For over 30 years REACH has supported independence through accessible, affordable, and nutritious food options and programs in our community.

We are seeking an outgoing, collaborative, and passionate individual for the role of Marketing and Communications Manager. This position will develop a plan to promote our programs, increase the number and diversity of our customers and donors, and strengthen REACHs profile. This is an exciting opportunity to create and manage a marketing and communications strategy for a well-established organization.

Duties include:
Developing a plan that increases social media impact, earned media, and engagement with donors and the community
Create materials including newsletters, press releases, and content for social media
Updating and maintaining the website and social media channels
Expand REACHs visibility at community events and other activation sites to increase the number of customers and donors
Assist with fund development activities including communications with donors, fundraising activities, and seeking out funding sources
Managing a new ecommerce website and database for customers and donors

Qualifications:
A degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, or other relevant field, or a combination of education, training, and experience
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of marketing and communication practices and techniques
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
A working knowledge of social media and relevant communications programs and tools
Experience with graphic design is considered an asset
A passion for working in the non-profit sector
A satisfactory criminal record check
