Description

We are seeking applications for a full time seasonal experienced and enthusiastic Equipment Operator to join our team. Preference will be given to someone with equipment experience.
Responsibilities:
May include ditch mowing, grading, backhoe work, general physical labor, maintenance of equipment and other duties as directed.
Requirements:
Be able to work under the direction of the Public Works Manager and with others,
Must have the physical stamina to complete labored tasks and be able to work outside in all weather conditions,
Must be of sound mind and body with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.,
Must be able to work flexible hours depending on weather conditions and scope of work,
Must have willingness and aptitude to operate RM machinery including but not limited to grader, backhoe, tractor/mower
Must have knowledge of servicing and maintaining various equipment,
Must have experience and knowledge of maintaining and repairing roads,
Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment,
Have good record keeping and time management skills and willingness to follow directions,
Must be willing to complete operator certificate as per The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 1996 and be safety conscious with an attention to detail.
Pesticide Applicators License would be an asset and
Must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license.

This is an hourly paid position. Wages are negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Please include your hourly wage expectation for this position.
