Description

Reporting to the Director, the Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly motivated and well-organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a background in geotechnical engineering to join the Design Delivery team located in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or Regina in the role of Project Manager.

In the role of Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Director with successful delivery of geotechnical, geohazard and other highway improvement projects.                                                                                                                  
- Reviewing design reports and developing tender documents for assigned projects.
- Updating project information, schedules, and costs in the Ministrys project management software (e-Builder).
- Representing the Ministry in dealings with private individuals, public agencies, and external stakeholders; and
- Assisting the Director and Senior Project Managers in various activities required to deliver Ministry programs.

To qualify for the Project Manager position, you will possess a bachelors degree in civil or geological engineering from an accredited university and be eligible for registration as a professional engineer (PEng) or engineer-in-training (EIT) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), or Engineering Licensee with several years equivalent experience.
