Assistant Deputy Minister, Information Technology Division

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a visionary and strategic senior executive who is committed to building organizational value through leadership, collaboration, and results.

The Assistant Deputy Minister, Information Technology Division offers an ideal opportunity for a highly-skilled, collaborative senior executive to provide strategic leadership, advice and direction on all matters related to internal information technology services, security, and standards.

This opportunity is for experienced senior executives with an exceptional history of achieving results in collaborative environments, ideally within the field of information technology; program and service delivery; and/or public policy development. In addition, you will have:

- A solid track record of building and maintaining credible, collaborative relationships across a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders;
- In-depth knowledge of government legislative and regulatory processes and protocols, in particular as it relates to public policy development and financial management;
- Experience supporting elected officials or boards in making quality, evidence-based financial decisions;
- Proven capability to identify and deliver key strategic insights, counsel and policy to ensure decision-making is made with the best possible advice, with a high degree of innovation and accountability;
- Demonstrated consensus-building skills, strong leadership and team-building skills, with an ability to mentor and develop staff and build organizational community; and
- Exceptional diplomacy, with well-developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with, and influence, a variety of stakeholders.
