AFCS is looking for two energetic and organized individuals to join our team. They will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of programs under their portfolio. One portfolio will manage a Saskatchewan-wide Indigenous Mental Health Program and the other will manage an Indigenous-focused Training Centre business model.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and evaluate programs including data collection, communication strategies, reporting and improvements
Develop and update a workplan on programs activities, successes and challenges
Administer funds and monitor the monthly program cash flow
Identify and evaluate the risks facing the program
Ensure AFCS mission, programs, products and services represent AFCS are consistently presented in a strong, positive manner
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Act as a liaison, main contact and communication between staff, program stakeholders and partners
Perform other duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and cultural sensitivity of Indigenous culture, values, history, and traditions are mandatory. Knowledge of Indigenous language is beneficial
Knowledge and understanding of the Friendship Centre Movement
Strong professional judgement and decision-making ability
Experience in strategic planning and budget preparation
