Summer Student JobResponsibilities will be reporting to the Public Works manager. Duties include but not limited to: assist senior staff in the operation and maintenance of the Departments facilities, including but not limited to; weed/Grass and tree trimming, washing/maintenance of vehicles and/or machinery, painting (line painting and painting of facilities), Garbage Collection (main street garbage receptacles), Streets, roads, sidewalks, back-alley maintenance (crack filling, pothole, and asphalt repair. Perform additional tasks and duties as required by the Public Works Manager or designate.
This position is open to male and female applicants and is covered by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Local No. 3003 Collective Agreement.
