Ensure that all Saskatchewan labour and employment policies, procedures, practices, processes, and systems meet organizational needs and comply with applicable legislation.
Assist and resolve inappropriate employee behaviour, special performance issues, and so on. Resolve conflicts between management and employees, and/or between individual employees.
Keep personnel files up to date with all relevant documentation
Administer employee benefits/pension plans that include group life, disability and pension, including enrolling new employees, ensuring employee eligibility, providing advice and interpretation of coverage to employees, processing of all claim forms, and acting as a liaison between employees and Benefits/Pension representatives concerning any claims.
Guide managers in how to navigate Workers Compensation Board (WCB)
Ensures that employees to be added onto the drivers list
Arrange for drug screening in conjunction with the Executive Director
Write up formal discipline and termination letters for managements signature
Ensure progressive discipline is followed, in conjunction with the manager of the department.
Provide monthly updates to the Finance/HR Director as requested.
Marketing and promoting the organization.
Attendance at meetings, training and workshops as requested.
Adhere to all 4DCFS Inc. policy & procedure manuals.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Human Resource Management or other related discipline
Human Resources Certificate or related discipline
Successful completion of a Business Administration, Commerce
