What youll do:
The Food Store Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the new 30,000 square foot Moosomin Food Store including inventory control, budget, staff, asset protection, and safety. The Manager will provide leadership, direction, and support to ensure the business delivers trusted products and services.

You will lead in a positive and engaging manner. Oversee employee performance, providing mentorship, coaching, and identifying areas of concern. Ensure compliance with all HR, Operational, Food Safety and OHS policies.

You will maintain relationships with vendors and ensure excellent service for customers. Identify consumer trends and support competitive pricing. Create and execute a merchandising strategy, Support customer loyalty programs. Respond to concerns and complaints in a timely manner with resolution.

You will provide leadership to Food Department Managers, and identify and prioritize opportunities within their departments.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
    You have 6  9 years of relevant experience including a minimum of 3 years experience leading leaders in a retail food environment.
    Previous management within the Co-op Retailing System will be considered an assest.
    Youre experienced in leading a team with a focus on customer service.
    Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
    You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
