As Assistant Controller, you'll leverage your accounting expertise to ensure accurate reporting and efficient administrative operations.
Responsibilities:
-Manage Administration team
-Responsible for A/R, A/P, inventory subledger records
-Process bi-weekly pay
-Supervise retail POS for accuracy & tax compliance
-Manage deposits & daily cash balances
-Maintain job-costing system
-Oversee customer collections
-Ensure accurate financial recording
-Reconcile ledger & bank accounts
-Assist in financial reporting
-Document & maintain standard operating procedures
-Assist with HR activities
-Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting
-Coordinate with IT
-Offer customer-facing support

Qualifications and Experience:
-Completed advanced accounting courses or pursuing CPA
-3-5 years accounting exp., ideally retail, multi-company
-Strong grasp of financial accounting principles
-Working paper development exp. preferred
-Advanced Quickbooks, preferably retail
-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel
-Experience with ERP systems
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday work week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package based on education and experience including participation in our group benefits plan.
