Key Responsibilities

* O ngoing maintenance/repair of buses
* Respond to breakdowns
* Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities
* Perform semi-annual Government Inspections
* Complete all documentation associated with mechanical repairs of equipment
* Supervision of apprentice mechanics
* Suggest areas for additional training and assist with training of apprentice mechanics

Requirements

* Journeyperson Ticket - Heavy Duty Mechanic; Apprentices also considered
* 2 - 5 years of related experience desired
* Valid driver's license (Class 2 or 3 ideal)
* Safety Inspection Certification through SGI desired
* Experience working with Prevost coaches considered an asset
* Analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Computer proficiency
* Own hand tools
