What Does a Powder Coating Technician Do?
The Powder Coater is responsible for the overall quality and effective running of the powder coating process.
Understanding and complying with all Company Quality/Safety policies, procedures and rules and carrying out all activities including the operation of any machinery in a safe, responsible manner.  
Ensure proper training has been received before undertaking any job.
Ensuring that all required and appropriate PPE be always worn.
Material handling and the prep required before and after application.
Apply powder to the sufficient coating level for a quality finish.
Run the ovens/monitor baking process to ensure proper adherence of coating.
Oversee and troubleshoot any coating issues during the process.
Maintain the pace of the line to ensure that the process stays on schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment within your workspace.
What Qualifications Do We Look For?
-One to three years of Powder Coating experience is preferred.
-Valid forklift ticket is an asset.
-WHMIS 2015 Certification.
-Able to work in a hot environment and be physically fit.
-Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
-Ability to communicate technical information clearly and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
