Reporting to the Rehabilitation Services Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for all administrative client services tasks required to support the Specialized Seating department. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and health care partners, including scheduling appointments, checking/obtaining referral documentation, arranging product pick-up with therapists and clients, preparing written correspondence, and responding to all department service enquiries.
- Accurately maintain electronic client records including scanning and importing file documentation, performing data entry and ongoing file maintenance.
- Monitor the department caseload and provide administrative assistance to technicians to manage work-in-progress.
- Coordinate Specialized Seating services with aligning SaskAbilities programs.
- Arrange for delivery of equipment to therapists, care facilities, and clients.
- Assist with receiving inventory, including file documentation and unpacking and shelving products.
- Other duties to support Rehabilitation Services as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Grade 12.
- Graduate of a recognized business college/secretarial course.
- Completion of medical terminology courses is considered an asset.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 months experience working in a busy medical office environment, including patient scheduling responsibilities.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational ability to handle multiple priorities and varying deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy for data management.
- Basic keyboarding, computer, and office skills.
