Are you looking for an opportunity to build upon your supervisory skills working outdoors in the beautiful Saskatchewan summers?

Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who would enjoy working as part of a team to assist with the planning and implementation of water-based recreation in an outdoor leisure pool setting at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park?

We may have the perfect seasonal opportunity for you, at the scenic Buffalo Pound Provincial Park!

The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sports mission is to inspire all citizens and visitors to connect with nature, culture, and recreation. The ministrys strategic focus is on economic growth and supporting quality of life by managing the provincial parks system and providing recreation, sport, heritage and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors.

The Buffalo Pound Provincial Park is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual as the Pool Aquatic Supervisor for a seasonal term opportunity, starting about the end of May to the September long weekend.

The ideal candidate will hold current certifications in the following: Lifesaving Society Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and LSS National Lifeguard - Pool Certification. You will also hold a  valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.

Other aquatic certifications, such as Aquatic Emergency Care, Aquatic Supervisor, Aquatic Manager, Pool Operators course or others would be an asset.  

This full-time supervisory seasonal position will work various hours including evenings and weekends. The pool term will run from May 23 to September long weekend. Pool closure during the week of August 26-30 to accommodate students returning to school and reopens August 31-September 2, 2024. If possible, working the weekends September 7, 2024, from 11 am-430pm.
