Facility: 314 Duchess Street
Job Description: This position will report to the Community Adult Recovery Services Manager. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor/Educator will work closely with the Manager to supervise and evaluate nursing staff, provide leadership and function as a role model and mentor to assist staff with professional development and achievement of Mental Health and Addiction Services program goals.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Experience
At least 10 years experience in mental health nursing. At least 5 years direct clinical experience in providing community based case management services to clients with long term mental illness. Extensive knowledge of the principles, programs and practices in Community Mental Health Nursing and group therapy programming.  Previous supervisory skills would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrate an understanding of Health Promotion and Health Prevention initiatives in Mental Health.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, resourceful, energetic and creative.
Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical judgments related to client care utilizing the Nursing Process and interventions appropriate to Mental Health.
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff.
Demonstrated ability to use Nursing Process and Nursing Theory to plan, design, implement and evaluate original nursing research.
Excellent ability and proven capacity to communicate, consult and work effectively with diverse groups of professionals, clients, and colleague
