JOB TITLE: Construction Laborer  Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings

COMPANY: Stratus Steel Erectors Inc.

POSITIONS:  2 Full Time

START DATE: Immediate

JOB LENGTH: Permanent

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist in safe and efficient construction of a pre-engineered steel building projects.

WAGE INFORMATION: $20-$35 / hour based on experience and existing certifications.  

BENEFITS: Insurance package after 6-months.

LOCATION: Mostly Saskatoon area. Occasional travel.

TYPICAL DUTIES: Clean and organize worksite, lifting up to 100 lbs, metal siding, metal roofing, insulating, erecting and securing pre-engineered steel structure, power tool use, working at heights from aerial lift

EXPERIENCE:
Will train less experienced workers, but the following are assets...
- Any construction experience
- Fall protection certificate
- Aerial lift certificate
- WHMIS certificate
- Telehandler certificate
- First aid/CPR certificate

INDIVIDUAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Punctual, reliable work attendance
- Work effectively with minimal supervision
- Follow instruction
- Take initiative and be self-motivated
- Physical ability for manual work and lifting up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to work as a team member and support others
- Safe work habits

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation to and from work sites
- Supply own hard hat, safety boots, and gloves
- Canadian citizen or work visa
