In this position you will be responsible for building a portfolio of accounts aimed at growing revenues in broadcast advertising for the Co-operative.
Main Duties include:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate revenue through broadcast advertising sales.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with broadcast media outlets, advertising agencies, and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media buyers, advertising executives, and decision-makers within client organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling advertising campaigns that align with business objectives and client needs.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing quotes, and advertising packages to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and campaign objectives.
Competencies for Success:
- A Minimum of grade 12 education.
- Telecommunications sales experience at the commercial level and the ability to develop solid business client relationships is required.
- A minimum of two years advertising sales experience in a media sales/account management role.
- Effective communicator written and oral, with strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision-making ability.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- A class 5 driver's license
