Description

Working as part of the Recreation team to enhance residents quality of life (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual) by assisting residents to meet their needs through activities of daily living.  Promote resident quality of life by working to alleviate the three plagues of long term care which are loneliness, helplessness and boredom.  Participate in Sunnysides Quality Improvement program to reduce falls, reduce the use of anti-psychotic medications and reduce responsive behaviors.

Prefer students who are currently enrolled or recently completed Recreation Therapy program.
