Bookkeeping duties including receiving, entering, and paying invoices; payroll including appropriate source deductions; interim tax payments (GST, PST, Income Tax, source deductions, etc.).
Regular bookkeeping work on QuickBooks.
Interfacing with CRA and SaskFinance for clarifications as necessary.
Invoicing, including filing invoices.
Tracking subconsultant invoices and payments.
Following up on unpaid invoices.
Processing weekly timesheets.
Processing expense sheets for staff.
Working with accountant on year-end work as well as clarifications throughout the year.
Filing and other clerical duties.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Access would be an asset.
Experience bookkeeping in construction industry would be an asset (but not required) particularly if experience is with an architectural or engineering consulting firm.
Post secondary education on bookkeeping and tax system would be a desirable asset.
Part time work in the range of 12 to 24 hours per week. Work is in office and in Regina.
Office hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Remote work is not an option.
