The Team Lead, Claims Administration coaches and mentors the administration team which registers and administers disability claims. This position assigns and monitors work activities ensuring that claims administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The team lead is responsible for completing quality audits, researching, developing and updating procedures related to claims administration.
How you will create impact:
- Optimize workflow and work tasks ensuring the efficient and timely processing of claims administration tasks to maintain service levels.
- Develop new and enhance existing claims administrative training programs for each product.
-Mentor and coach claims administration staff on processes and procedures.
- Perform audits and provide feedback on staff performance for review purposes, participate in goalsetting with team members.
- Research, develop, enhance, write and maintain claims procedures as assigned.
- Participate as a subject matter expert on claims projects or focus groups.
