Description

We are currently seeking a Tool and Fixture Designer to join our Saskatoon Manufacturing Plant.
Tool and Fixture Designers are hardworking, positive, and eager team members who designs and constructs a variety of tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machines, and equipment.

The Qualified Candidate will have:
- Grade 12 or GED Equivalency.
- Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent education, such as CAD/CAM Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of three years experience in designing fixtures and tool/die sets.
- Minimum of three years experience in computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing and computer-aided engineering.
- Experience with 3D dimensional programming to create blueprints for designing tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machines and equipment.
- Proficient in math with an understanding of geometric tolerance (GD&T).
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job which are: Light physical effort equivalent to occasionally handling or moving light weight to lay out work, fit and assemble parts, and to tear down and re-assemble tools.
