Hours of Work: Based on 4 hours per day- hours may change come September
Length of Employment: Temporary-15 months

Position Description:
An EA position is available at the YWCA Centre for Play and Development Childcare Centre. The successful applicants will be responsible for the development and safety of the children as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a safe environment for all children
- Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles.
- Be a team player
- Have a positive attitude
- Punctual and dependable
Qualifications:
Education and experience are essential.
- Early Childhood Education Level 1 or willingness to complete Level 1
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Criminal record check with a vulnerable sector check
Additional responsibilities for EA position:
- Working with a child with diverse needs
- Looking after all aspects of the childs needs
- Contribute to planning and implementing a Personal Program Plan
- Support and work collaboratively with parents and supporting professionals
