Description

The Prairie Agricultural Machinery Institute (PAMI) is an ISO 9001:2015-registered organization established in 1975 to provide a unique resource to both prairie farmers and agricultural machinery manufacturers. Today, in addition to continuing our agricultural priorities, PAMI has also evolved to serve the needs of both the mining and transportation industries.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Technical Sales, the incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to generate sales in an effective way according to the business development objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are the general duties of the position but are not inclusive of all the detailed tasks that may be required.
Manage and develop existing and new client relationships
Contribute to achieve business development sales targets
Execute short term and long term business development
Prepare proposals, contracts, and tenders
Plans daily activities and completes assignments in a timely way
Enter and maintain client data and opportunities into the organizations CRM system
Attend seminars and conferences as required

Qualifications:
University degree or diploma in a technical area relevant to organizations client base
Professional with 1-3 years of experience working in agriculture, mining, or transportation
Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, MS Project or other project management systems would be considered an asset
Strategic and self-disciplined
Driven, confident, and personable
Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Ability to travel including international travel
