Description

The Ministry of Advanced Educations Strategic Communications Branch is seeking a highly organized and team-oriented Executive Coordinator.

In this role, you will provide executive-level administrative support by:

- Managing, tracking and monitoring action items and correspondence within timelines given;
- Planning and scheduling meetings, logistics and travel arrangements;
- Managing calendars through collaboration and prioritization;
- Monitoring administrative processes and making improvements to ensure optimum efficiency;
- Drafting, recording, proofreading and/or editing a variety of documents in accordance with Government of
Saskatchewan (GOS) visual identity standards and ministry writing standards;
- Handling sensitive documents with discretion;
- Compiling expense information and preparing budget reports for review;
- Maintaining manual and electronic filing and records management systems; and
- Ordering supplies and handling office equipment repairs and furniture replacement.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required for this position is obtained through:
- Formal education in business or office administration combined with senior-level administrative work experience;
- Advanced ability to use a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Midas, BMO, SharePoint and Adobe would be an asset; and
- Knowledge of office management and government administrative protocols, records management procedures and basic financial accounting principles.
