Applications are invited for a continuing 1.0 FTE Student Services Coordinator commencing the start of the 2024-25 school year.
The Student Services Coordinator works to provide both generalized and specialized leadership and support to school-based administrators, teachers and other professionals across the school division. Coordinators work to improve opportunities and achievement for students, determine, communicate and implement professional services direction and innovation, and help set strategic direction and implement actions.
The Student Services Coordinator leads and directs a team of student services professional staff to provide specialized support services and programming to students and teachers across the school division in order to improve opportunities and achievement for all students. This position has responsibility for leadership and delivery of supports for emotional, social and behaviours needs of students, Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions for students with diverse needs, and programming for students requiring intensive supports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology or Bachelor of Psychology or Bachelor of Education Degree
Masters Degree in a related field
Registered and in good standing with the with applicable professional association
Minimum 10 years experience working in the education sector and/or with children and youth
This position is based out of the Education Centre. Travel within the division is required; system fleet vehicles are available or mileage is paid for use of a personal vehicle. Salary is paid in accordance with the Provincial STF Agreement or Conditions of Employment Agreement depending upon qualifications. An additional 15% allowance is provided in addition to salary.
