Responsibilities
Monitor job posting boards and handle incoming quote requests via email.
Prioritize project bids based on various factors, such as schedule and complexity, with guidance from senior management.
Download project documents and input them into the bid system.
Perform material and equipment takeoffs from project documents.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, clarifying requirements.
Input takeoff and equipment lists into the bid summary sheet for review.
Collaborate with senior management in tender review and issuance of estimates to customers/contractors.
Various miscellaneous tasks such as updating system pricing, data tracking, etc.

Qualifications
Previous experience in plumbing and/or sheet metal.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Windows-based software.
Blueprint reading, along with the ability to review and understand specifications.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills are essential, along with attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
Keen eye for scheduling while juggling multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Attention to detail.
Ability to perform quick mental math.
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in estimating.
